Jenny Stone ’76 didn’t arrive at Gettysburg College knowing she would build a career in athletic training.
Through mentors, meaningful opportunities, and open doors on campus, she discovered a path that led to Olympic sports medicine and a lifetime of caring for athletes.
Now, she’s giving back to help future students find their own way.

Music in the streets, dancing on the square, and a community coming together!
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Salsa on the Square recognized the contributions of our local Latino community and the more than 40-year Sister City relationship between Gettysburg and León, Nicaragua.
Gettysburg College students also contributed in many ways throughout the festivities, including helping create the colorful sawdust carpet featured during the celebration. 🧡💙

AI in education is nuanced. Gettysburg College faculty spent a week embracing that complexity rather than avoiding it.
Their workshop covered generative AI tools, academic integrity, course design, and the ethics behind it all. Students joined faculty in the room, offering a perspective that shaped the conversation in real ways.
