Alice and Kennie Foust Equestrian Park is home to the Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc. Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc. We promote horses and horse activities.
It is our mission to promote horses and horse activities in and around our surrounding area. is a non profit riding club that is open for membership to anyone in the surrounding area that has an interest in horses and ponies. We hold several trail rides a month and we sponsor several horse shows at our club grounds. Some of the proceeds of these shows are donated to the Adams County 4-H Horse Club

All are welcome to our first meeting of the year to be held at the Livery at Herr Ridge, 900 Herrs Ridge Rd, Gettysburg. We will be discussing the upcoming year. Sue Smith of Cedar Line Farm will be talking to us about keeping our animals healthy. She specializes in Equine Therapy. She is a Certified Massage Therapist, PEMF Equine Therapy and the SURE FOOT Equine Stability Program. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please bring a friend. You do not need to be a member of the club to attend.
This will be held Thursday, January 22. If you want to come for your dinner first please come at 6. The meeting will be starting at 7:00. Of course at this time of year we will need to watch the weather. Check back that afternoon if falling weather.
Save the date for our Benefit Fun Show for Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministries. Saturday, May 2, 2026 with a 9:00 start. Pass the word along and hope to see you all then. Class list will be ready by February.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Able is home safe & sound after 2 days, 4 hours :)
Please spread the word for this lost dog. Able was LOST on August 24, 2025 in Orrtanna, PA 17353 near Evergreen Way and Old Route 30
Message from Owner: Please let me know if you see my dog. He is 16 years old and we lost him sometime last night. It's very unlike him to have gone so far away from us--we've walked all over looking for him. Please call me at. Thank you!

Don't forget the Blue Gray show this Sunday, August 17 at the Gettysburg Riding Club. We look forward to seeing you. We will have Brickers Fries to fill our stomachs and Travelin' Tom's Coffee for a wake me up in the morning.
Special Class will be the Family Class, which is a walk trot.
7:30 start for the Blue and Gray double point show August 3rd.
