Last year, I had the honor and joy to meet Dolly Parton and be a part of the exhibit opening in her honor I at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Although I didn't know her personally, I knew of her humor, kindness and generosity from the many stories and articles I've heard and read over the years. Dolly was a true icon in music and in life, and an inspiring model for all of us to be like. Rest in peace Dolly. May your guiding light shine forevermore.

Today, we pause to remember and celebrate the incomparable Dolly Parton. 🦋
Her voice, her songwriting, her generosity, and her unmistakable spirit have touched generations. Dolly was not only a treasured artist, but a mentor, friend, and inspiration to so many in the bluegrass community. She shared her talent generously and opened doors for countless musicians who followed in her footsteps.
Our hearts are with all of our bluegrass friends and artists who knew Dolly, worked alongside her, and were fortunate enough to call her a friend.
Thank you, Dolly, for the songs, the stories, the laughter, and the memories. Your music and your legacy will live on in all of us. 💗 Surely, we will always love you, Dolly. 🦋
