Gettysburg PD Mounted Unit
The Gettysburg Mounted Unit was established in 2017 and is a non profit that is run off of donations.
The Gettysburg Mounted Unit consists of horseback certified police officers from the Gettysburg Police Department in Historic Gettysburg Pennsylvania. The Horses are used for patrol, parades, public events and community policing. The horses belong to Horse Tours of Gettysburg, who in 2017 graciously and without hesitation decided to donate the use of their horses to help start the Gettysburg Mount
