Northern Elementary School

🧦⭐ Northern Stars Sock Drive! ⭐🧦

We have an exciting service project coming up, and we are so excited to see what our Northern Stars can do! From October 12–23, we will be collecting new adult-sized socks in their original packaging to donate to veterans at the V.A. Hospital. 🇺🇸🧦

🏆 And there’s a little friendly competition!
The homeroom that collects the most socks will earn the chance to tape Ms. Helsby to the wall! 😂📦

🎨 Sock Box Fun:
K–2 students have already decorated their sock collection boxes during STEAM! (See the attached picture! 😊)
3–5 students will get the opportunity to decorate their boxes during their next STEAM visit.

Let’s fill those boxes and show our veterans how much our Northern Stars care! ⭐💙🧦

⭐🧹 Happy National Custodian Day! 🧹⭐

Today we want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our amazing Northern Elementary custodial team — Mr. Alan, Mrs. Shumway, and Mr. Alex! 💙💛

Thank you for all that you do each and every day to keep our school clean, safe, healthy, and welcoming for our students and staff. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes a HUGE difference! ⭐

We appreciate you more than you know! 💙💛

Happy National Custodian Day! 🎉🧹⭐

Northern Elementary School is offering STEAM classes to all students. In these classes, students get to experiment, design, create, and build amazing things while solving fun problems together. This inspires students’ creativity, fosters critical thinking, and encourages collaboration with their classmates.

⭐💻 Happy National IT Day! 💻⭐

Today we celebrate Mrs. Hammond, the person behind the scenes who keeps our technology up and running at Northern Elementary! 🖥️✨

From fixing our tech troubles to helping staff and students when we need it most, we are so thankful for all that you do! 💙

Thank you, Mrs. Hammond, for keeping our Stars connected! ⭐💻

🧀 We took "Say Cheese!" a little too literally today... 📸

Picture Day was a total success! Safe to say the photographers had no trouble getting everyone to smile today!

Huge thanks to all the students and staff for bringing their best smiles, great energy, and fantastic outfits to school. We can't wait to see how the final photos turn out!

⭐️ What a way to kick off the school year! ⭐️

Thank you so much to everyone who came out for our first All Pro Dads meeting of the year this morning! We were so excited to see so many dads and father figures showing up, spending time with their kids, and making memories together. ❤️

A special thank you to Trinity Assembly Of God for sponsoring breakfast and helping make our first meeting such a success! 🥞🍳

We are so grateful for the support of our families and community. We can’t wait to see everyone again at our next All Pro Dads! 💙⭐️

⭐️ Fun & Learning in Miss Phillips’ Class! ⭐️

It’s been an exciting couple of days in Miss Phillips’ classroom! Yesterday, students met their new Constellation Companions—5th grade buddies they’ll get to learn and build friendships with throughout the year. 💛

Today, they put their reading skills into action with a hands-on community newsletter project! 📰📚 Students worked together in groups, shared ideas, and had a blast learning along the way!

We love seeing all the teamwork, creativity, and excitement happening in Miss Phillips’ class! 🌟
