For 25 years, volunteers, supporters, community partners, and friends have helped make it possible for older adults in our community to remain independent, connected, and engaged. These milestone events will celebrate the people, stories, and impact that have shaped our mission.

This morning, we enjoyed visiting with Faith in Action Georgetown clients, supporters, volunteer drivers, and prospective volunteers at The Worship Place.

Connecting with neighbors in our community and hearing their stories is a wonderful reminder of why our mission matters. Today, 213 volunteer drivers help 895 clients remain independent, connected, and engaged, but the need continues to grow.

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We’re holding their families in our hearts.

Maurice Jackson serves as Vice Chair of the Board with a heart for service. As the owner of This Generation LLC, he helps seniors and families navigate senior health and insurance.

A proud Army and Air Force veteran, Maurice is inspired by Faith in Action’s mission to keep older adults active, connected, and independent through free transportation. He leads with servant-hearted warmth and a commitment to bringing a smile to everyone he meets.
