Thank you to everyone who came out to the Millsboro Farmer's Market yesterday! Hannah and I enjoyed catching up with people we knew and meeting new people. We are so excited as this is our first vendor event for Double D Farm. Starting next Saturday, anyone who makes a purchase will get an entry into a drawing. Each week we will give away something different and the winner will be announced on Facebook at the end of the market. Winners can pick up their prize the following Saturday at the market. We look forward to seeing everyone! And thank you for supporting our farm!

I thought I'd share a little update. Double D Farm will be participating in the Millsboro Farmers Market this year, Saturdays from 8-12 starting next Saturday the 6th!
Last week I turned pig lard into a moisturizing body lotion. Yesterday I turned it into bath soap! Im learning about so much I can do and im truly loving it.
With regard to the farmers market, we will have shirts, wallets, purses, Keychain, cutting boards, my lotion, and so much more. We will also be offering our pasture raised pork. Our pigs graze on never sprayed pasture grass and are supplemented with non gmo grain only. The meat is frozen so we will be offering it at the market but pick up will be at the farm, where you can pick up your meat and take a look around the farm so you see exactly where your meat is coming from!
We are so excited for this next chapter! And appreciate you all for being on this adventure with us!

Weekends on the farm are always busy, but we can't let the weekend go by without saying Happy 1st Birthday to 2 of our girls. Lilli Mill turned one on Friday and our Rosie is 1 today. Also expecting our ducks to hatch today!

I dont think I could ever get tired of this view!

What a great day on the farm. Coming out of our 1st winter, today we dewinterized the building and moved everyone to new pastures to allow for rotational grazing. What a productive day with some cow brushings sprinkled throughout the day. Ida Mae and Rosie are becoming friends! Such a great life! Threw in a few pictures of the sleeping piglets just because they are so cute!

Can't get enough of these adorable girls. Love how they think the hay feeder and milk bucket are beds!
