EXECUTIVE ORDER- MANDATORY HOME OR WORK ORDER.

ALL South Carolina residents MUST remain at home, or at work. Unless visiting family, exercising or obtaining essential goods or services. This goes into effect Tuesday, April 7 at 5 pm.

There will be criminal penalties for disobeying this order.

*EVERYONE must stay at home or at work, unless visiting family, exercising or obtaining essential goods or services.

*There are no additional business closures at this time.

*Mandate for retail stores - must limit amount of customers in the store at one time. No more than 5 customers per 1000 square feet.

Violation of this will result in 30 days and or $100 fine for each day of non compliance.

**we issued this order because there were too many people on roads, in stores, not complying with our previous orders and requests. We asked, and now we are ordering. Last week has shown it is not enough to close water or businesses. The rate of infection is on the rise. And the rate of non compliance is on the rise.

*200,000 SC residents have applied for unemployment. We must be more aggressive to combat the rise of infection in our state.

** Easter Sunday is coming this week, and I ask that all churches either stream their services on the internet or have an outdoor service.

* SC has 180 new cases today, which gives our state a total of 2232 cases.
We are seeing an accelerated rate of infection, with approximately 187 new cases per day. Where before we were only seeing 90 new cases per day.

*Regarding the use of masks or face coverings. These measures are optional but recommended. Please do not go out and buy masks. You can use homemade masks. Do NOT use a mask in place of social distancing. Do not let the mask give you a false sense of security.

--National Guard -- SC Currently has 5,944 hospital beds available. We are rolling out the plan to add 3000 new beds. With beds in several phases. 9000 beds by May 5th.
