t Georgetown County First Steps, we believe every child has the potential to achieve great things when they are supported, encouraged, and loved.

Confidence begins early. As parents, caregivers, educators, and community members, we have the power to help children see their strengths and celebrate their successes.

Today, take a moment to remind a child:

You are capable.
You are important.
You are smart.
You can do hard things.
Believe in yourself.

Yesterday was filled with an overload of cuteness, achievement, and the incredible hard work of teachers as we celebrated our 3K and 4K graduations! We extend a heartfelt thank you to the parents, teachers, and staff of these wonderful centers throughout Georgetown County for their dedication and support.

Education and a child’s foundation for success begin long before they enter public school. The love, learning, and nurturing provided during these early years help shape our young people and help to build their futures, and we are proud of each of them!
