On behalf of Burger University, we want to thank everyone who enjoyed the product we created. This restaurant was born out of necessity in 2012 and today we announce our permanent closing.
The historic Lockett building, of which we have been owners/caretakers since 2007, is being sold and a new concept will soon fill its hallowed halls.
For those of you who helped us achieve the gold medal ribbon for best hamburger in the “Best of Georgetown” contest every year since we have been open, we wish you our humble thank you. So from our entire family (Rob, Carmen , Carly, Sydney & Mackenzie May ), it has been a joy to serve each of you.
