Surprise at the barn! 💙🐴

Missy is the mama of our sweet Hugs horse, Ava — and Rona and Stephanie have admired Missy for years.

When Missy’s owner offered her to Rona, Rona jumped at the chance, knowing Missy’s golden disposition would be perfect for HUGS. Her owner was sure Missy was not bred when she came to the barn 8 or 9 months ago.

Fast forward to two weeks ago. When a suspiciously round Missy started showing the telltale signs of imminent delivery, a vet check confirmed what Rona and Stephanie already figured.

Last night around 10:00, our unexpected little c**t made his grand entrance.

Welcome to the world, Tonka Toy. You are already loved!

Now we just have to find out who your daddy is. 💙

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, an amazing $59,000 was raised for Hugs for Horses, which helps provide therapeutic horseback riding programs at no cost to children and adults with special needs.
