Summer reading starts NEXT WEEK. We are so ready to spend a dino-mite summer with y'all!

Our big kickoff is on June 3 with a screening of Jurassic Park outdoors at 7 p.m. This screening is for all ages. Bring a blanket or chair, some snacks and water, and get ready to have a wild and word-y summer with us at the Library.
LIONS. DANCING. What more can you ask for? Summit Lion/Dragon Dance Team will be performing outdoors at the Library on May 30 at 11 a.m. Come enjoy this vibrant and gorgeous traditional dance.
This event is outdoors, so water, shade umbrellas, seating, blankets, and sunblock are suggested. This performance is for anyone from two to 92!

Don't forget! We are closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Nothing is due this day, and we hope you have a safe and happy holiday.
BLOODY AND BRUISED will be screened at the Library with local director and filmmaker Budro Partida on May 27 at 6 p.m.! Watch this documentary that chronicles local music history from The Back Room, a historic Austin music venue.
Following the screening, a question and answer session will take place with the director. This event is free and open to the public. Presented in partnership with GTX FILM.

It's May! We're celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage this month with a Lion Dance! Summit Dragon & Lion Dance will be outdoors at the Library on May 30 at 11 a.m. to perform a traditional dance of good luck and fortune.
Bring water, hats, sunblock, and chairs or a blanket to sit on.
