This morning we celebrated the Holy Baptism of Bowan Blair. We committed to help him grow with the church, and recommitted our own Baptismal vows. Welcome to FUMC, Bowan!

FUMC's Open Table College Age Ministry invites all college-age students to be part of a weekly supportive and inclusive group for ages 18-25, even during our summer break. Join us every Tuesday starting June 2 at 7:00 PM for dinner and lesson with small groups, and monthly social events. For more information, email [email protected].

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
We are grateful for their sacrifice and pray for peace in our world and comfort for all who mourn.

Today the FUMC PPR Committee provided lunch for the church staff, to celebrate the retirement of Sherry Markert and Bruce Schrott. Bruce was also presented with a new ‘civilian’ church nametag, and Sherry presented a new Finance Director nametag to Honey Habingreither, who will be taking over the role beginning next week. Congratulations again to Sherry and Bruce on your re-retirements!

Music Camp has been around a long time, and we're doing it again July 6-10! Children who have finished 1st-5th grade can enjoy music, Bible stories, art, movement, fun, and will perform the musical “100 Percent Chance of Rain” based on Noah’s story. Sherry Markert, FUMC Finance Director, and Bruce Schrott, FUMC Director of Adult Discipleship are both re-retiring this month.
