Customer contacted me with a refrigerator issue and said he thought it needed replaced. Checked out the refrigerator and found an ammonia leak in the back. Customer did not want another absorption and chose 12 volt for the replacement. Old fridge was a Dometic and the customer chose another Dometic 12 volt model. The removal of the old unit and install of the new unit went smoothly.

First victim of the brutally cold winter we had here, cracked strainer and pump. Customer blew out the lines and used a little more than two gallons of rv antifreeze and still had an issue. I had rv antifreeze spill out of the lines while disconnecting the pump.

Spring is around the corner so it’s time to think about camping and getting your camper ready!
With the extreme cold and freezing temperatures a roof inspection should be conducted. I can check the sealant around your vents and roof edge for cracks and screw pops. I can apply new DiCor sealant around your vents and roof edge.
One of the causes for your air conditioner to not operate properly is lack of proper air flow. Does your AC coils need cleaned? I can clean the dirt and dust from coils to help with the air flow.
It is also recommended that your axle bearings be inspected and seals replaced once a year. Contact me for your brake inspection and replacement of the seals on your travel trailer or 5th wheel.

Once again having the right tools paid off. Customer was in the process of packing up for vacation and couldn’t get the slide out in. Was able to get the slide in with a separate 12V source and got them on their way. Determined the problem was a voltage issue.

Here are a couple examples of the extreme cold temperatures we’ve had here in lower Delaware. These temperatures can be very detrimental to your camper even though it was winterized. Normal high here is around 45 degrees this time of year and we’ve had temperatures well below freezing for the month.
Snow and ice should be removed from the roof to prevent damage. Small water particles in the water system could cause cracks and breaks even though winterization was done. With these extreme cold temperatures these issues could arise come Spring when de-winterizing.
Contact me for your roof and camper inspection in the Spring.

Owner stated he had a window that needed replaced in his Entegra Anthem motor home. This window was a little difficult to handle at 72 inches by 31 inches. Thankfully the owner was there to assist. Replacement went flawlessly with no issues.

Have you had your roof inspected recently? While doing an AC repair I noticed areas of the roof that needed some attention. The areas around the vents and edges were cracked and had holes here and there. After a good scrubbing by hand and allowing to dry new DiCor self leveling sealant was applied.

Received a call from a customer stating the AC unit will just shut off completely on its own. The camper is stationary in a large campground. Inspected the AC unit and immediately noticed it needed cleaned for better air flow. After going on the roof for the AC cleaning I used my volt meter to test the unit. I found low voltage so I decided to connect my specialty tools to verify my findings. The amperage showed 13 amps which is good but the voltage showed 107, obtained similar readings from my meter. It pays to have the right tools for the job.
