We took the day off and invited our daycare kids, their parents, and their siblings to have a day of wholesome family fun at Alondra Park !! We had so fun spending time with our kids & their families, and it’s safe to say that the kids had a blast playing in water at the splash pad !!

Who remembers lite brite, we thought we were playing but fine motor skills, color recognition and practice pencil grip, shared materials and finally patience.

Child Care Job Summary
Our child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care Assistant who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to three years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Responsibilities :

* Supervise and monitor the safety of children

* Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
* Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
* Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
* Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential problems to the attention of parents or guardians
* Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests
* Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
* Prepare, serve monitor and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
* Help children keep good hygiene
* Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
* Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests
* Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime

Skills:
* High school diploma/GED required
* 1+ years' child care experience
* Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications
* Caring and compassionate attitude a must
* Must have a current CCL background check completed or be able to pass
* Must be able to bend, lift 40lbs and have energy
* Must have patience and be fair, fun and flexible
* Must be dependable and prompt
