Once Again Consignment

This is the most important of my recent posts.

We will open with our inventory from storage as soon as possible. (It would have taken at least another month if we had taken new inventory.) The store is nearly full now but we still have additional work to complete.

We will begin taking appointments the day after we open. We will not be able to take everyone's items but we will take as many as possible.

We will try to take some items for storage for next year since we have storage space now.

We will return to 20 pieces in a solid container. No bags or hangers pls.

We will stop taking summer consignments on July 31. We will begin taking Back to School and early Fall on August 1st.

We will have a huge End of Summer Sale on September 23 - September 26.

I do not know how soon we will open.

Answers to questions I've received:

We are in the old Shoe Show bldg. 305 Upper River Suite 3.

We are not accepting inventory at this time. We will after we open.

As I said previously, I have several posts to explain what is happening. Please read them.

I know many of you are anxious to bring in your summer items, and I greatly appreciate all of your love and support through all of this mess. But I have had some issues to work out.

1. We usually have our End of Summer clearance sale right after the 4th.

2.The process of getting items ready to sell involves 9 separate steps. This will be slow with new employees.

We are having an Open House and a Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber. Dates to be determined.

We will not accept inventory on those days unless you live at a distance from here.

Update:

We will start taking appointments after we open. We will return to our limited number of pieces at that time, and possibly take summer for several weeks depending on how much longer it takes us to get open.

We had a large amount of summer inventory stored that is filling up the store at this time.

We are moving to the old Shoe Show building beside the old Golden Corral. Lots of parking.

Update:

We have finished the walls and the floor.Had a few glitches of course, to slow us down. Still lots to do but hoping to be ready in 2 more weeks.

I wanted to have a fun game with everyone guessing where we were but lots of people know now so I'll have to figure out something else.

Can't wait to see everyone.

I'll try to answer questions as I receive them. Yes, we will still be in Gallipolis. We will do some online but it won't be like we are doing it now.

I will probably be looking for an employee or two. I'll let everyone about that asap. No messages now pls. We are SUPER busy.

I finally have some news.We have leased a building, and hope to reopen no later than June 1. The building is quite large, has lots of parking and is in a great location.

I'll try to keep everyone updated as we go along.
