Today was a BIG day for the Safe Haven Rentals ™️ Family! 🥹💙
Meet Mr. Alex, to those of you that have followed us from the very beginning he may look familiar to you, he is our very first program member. This December, he’ll be celebrating his 50th birthday, but today, we’re celebrating another milestone:

For the first time in his life, Mr. Alex PASSED his written driver’s test and officially received his learner’s permit! 🚗🎉👏🏾

And yes, we are SUPER PROUD over here!!

This is what Safe Haven Rentals is about. Housing may be part of what we provide, but our mission has always been bigger than four walls and a bed. It’s about encouraging the people we serve to keep moving forward, building independence, accomplishing personal goals, and realizing that it is NEVER too late to do something you’ve never done before.

Mr. Alex walked into that office after months of studying & two failed attempts determined, took his test, and walked back out one step closer to becoming a licensed driver. Seeing that smile afterward said EVERYTHING. 🥹

At almost 50 years old, he’s proof that there is no age limit on growth. No deadline on accomplishing a goal. And no such thing as being “too late” to start.

Mr. Alex, everybody at Safe Haven Rentals is rooting for you! 💙

Next stop: Graduating with his GED & practicing, preparing, and getting that DRIVER’S LICENSE! 🚘💨

This is what I mean when I tell people that shared living is about providing a service that people actually NEED. 🏡❤️

We don’t pressure people into choosing Safe Haven Rentals. We don’t have to convince someone that our program is right for them. We explain what we offer, answer their questions, determine whether we’re an appropriate fit, and allow THEM to make an informed decision.

This was a real inquiry from someone actively looking for a different shared-living option after hearing positive things about our programs.

And THAT is the part of this business I want aspiring providers to understand.

Marketing can get people to notice you, but your reputation, operations, environment and the experience you provide are what make people call YOU.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting here EATING and listening to a call my virtual AI assistant already handled for me. Baby, I LOVE HER. 😭😂📞

When someone calls my business, she can answer the call, gather information, take a message and send it over for me to review. She can also text callers the appropriate links to schedule what they need with me and transfer calls directly to me when necessary.

That means I don’t have to stop what I’m doing every single time the business phone rings, but people can STILL receive assistance and know what their next step is.

And THAT’S one of the biggest things I’m learning as I grow: everything does not need to be done manually by ME.
