And now? We wait! 🤞🏾🙌🏾🏡🫂
Further confirmation that God will take you through seasons you don’t completely understand, only to reveal later that He was positioning you the entire time. 💪🏾
Some closed doors weren’t punishment.
They were redirection. Sometimes rejection is protection.🤞🏾🫂
If you REALLY know my story, then you know exactly why this moment matters. ❤️🤝🏽
If you would have told me a few years ago that them same keys I was using to lock them behind a gate, would ironically turn into keys I used to free them, I would have thought you were crazy. 😮💨🙌🏾

I’ve been sending out a lot of emails lately to spread the word to more organizations of what I do and got this one back. Super excited!
Fingers crossed that I’ll be approved! Then I’ll officially be added to their directory for inmates in FL being released! Super excited! I’ve applied and I hope to hear back some time next week.
Wish me luck!! 🙌🏾🤞🏾🫂🏡
People ask me all the time, “How do you think you’re going to end homelessness?”
The truth is, I don’t wake up trying to solve a nationwide problem overnight.
I focus on helping one person, one room, one opportunity, one day at a time.
Because if enough of us commit to changing one life at a time, eventually those lives add up. ❤️
Today it may be building a bed. Tomorrow it’s helping someone rebuild theirs.
This lesson took me a long time to learn.
When you genuinely care about people, it’s easy to want to help every person who reaches out.
But one thing shared living taught me is that helping everyone is not the same thing as helping effectively.
Over the years, I’ve learned that boundaries are not selfish.
Standards are not selfish.
Structure is not selfish.
In fact, those things are what allow me to continue helping people year after year without burning out.
The truth is, I can’t save everybody.
But I can create stable housing opportunities for people who are ready to take the next step.
And that’s exactly what I intend to keep doing. 🏡❤️

Welcome to our page! An oversight of what our business is here to do & who we aim to serve Below🫂🏡
🏡 Changing Lives Through Housing Stability 💕
What started as a desire to help a few people find safe housing has grown into something much bigger.
Safe Haven Rentals is a privately funded shared-living and housing stabilization program serving veterans, seniors, adults with disabilities, returning citizens, individuals on the autism spectrum, and those experiencing housing instability.
We don’t just provide a place to stay. We help connect participants with community resources, employment opportunities, benefits assistance, and the support needed to work toward long-term independence and stability.
At this time, Safe Haven Rentals receives no federal funding or grants. The program continues to operate through participant program fees and my own personal investment because I truly believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home and an opportunity to move forward.
As our community’s needs continue to grow, I would love to connect with grant partners, donors, community organizations, churches, businesses, and other collaborators who share a passion for making a difference.
Together, we can help more people rebuild, recover, and thrive. ❤️
Please share our post to help us reach the ones who need us most🏡🫂

Hopefully the additional signage & package box will sway them to come & place items inside ?? lol
Should I put snacks inside for additional surprise?? 🤔🫣
One of the biggest blessings of running Safe Haven Rentals has been the people I’ve met along the way.
A lot of people assume everyone in shared living is down on their luck, but that’s not always the case.
Some of my guests are hardworking individuals simply looking for a safe place to save money, regroup, and work toward bigger goals.
In this video, one of our guests had just gotten home from work and saw me struggling to put together a package delivery chest.
Instead of going inside and relaxing, he jumped in to help.
Nobody asked him to.
He just did.
Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.
This business has provided housing for others, but it’s also brought some amazing people into my own life.
And for that, I’ll always be grateful ❤️🏡
P.S. We did finish putting it together… my camera just died before the grand reveal 😂
Also, our newest home that opened June 1st currently has only 2 semi-private spaces remaining, and we’re planning to open another shared living home July 1st.

🏡 AVAILABILITY UPDATE - SAFE HAVEN RENTALS 🏡
We recently opened a new shared living home and originally planned to transfer several of our current participants into a larger property. However, many of them chose to remain where they are, which means we now have more availability than expected.
Current Openings:
✅ Two openings for male participants in a semi-private room
✅ One semi-private room available for either a male or female participant
This is a general population shared living home and may be a good fit for:
• Returning Citizens
• Veterans
• Elderly Individuals
• SSI/SSDI Recipients
• Low-Income / working Individuals (male or female availability, as home is coed and currently has 2 male participants & a 3rd moving in June 30).
At this time, we do not have private rooms available in this home, so this particular home is generally not the best fit for women with children.
However, we do have another home opening July 1st that currently has no demographic assigned and may provide additional opportunities for women and children depending on availability and placement needs.
If you or someone you know is looking for affordable, furnished shared housing, feel free to submit an application. I will post the application 🔗 in the comments.
📣 We are also currently looking for an affordable washer and dryer, or a donated set, for the new home. If you know of any available, please send me a message.
As always, please like, comment, and share this post to help us reach those who may need housing.
Thank you for supporting Safe Haven Rentals and the work we do in our community. 🫂❤️🏡

People often see the move-ins, the filled spaces, and the finished homes. ..
What they don’t really get to see, are the late nights spent putting furniture together, cleaning, shopping, organizing, and making sure every detail is ready for the next person walking through the door. 🫂🏡
This video was taken while I was putting together a shoe rack for our newest shared living program that officially opened June 1st 2026🙌🏾.
I’m excited to share that we already have 2 guests moved in and another move-in reserved for the end of the month 🎉🏡✨
That means we currently only have 2 semi-private spaces remaining in this program.
And if all goes as planned, our next shared living program will be opening July 1st 🙏🏾🤞🏾
I’m incredibly grateful for the growth, the opportunity to serve my community, and everyone who has trusted Safe Haven Rentals along the way.
Also, we’re currently looking for an affordable washer/dryer set for the home. If you know of one available or would like to donate one, please send me a message.
