Seen over the weekend, Sofia Vinson, taking part in her internship with the North Georgia Physicians Group Athletic Trainers at the Gainesville V. Buford Football Game! 👏👏👏

Thank you to the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce for another great Youth Leadership Hall Kick-Off Event! Youth Leadership Hall (YLH) is a leadership development program for high school juniors and seniors. Founded in 2005, the program seeks to build individual leadership skills, foster positive group dynamics and increase civic and community involvement. Over 1,100 students have successfully completed the program through a series of sessions combining lectures and tours on such topics as the Judicial System, Economic Development, Social Services and Career Development.
While each year follows a similar format, programs adjusted to meet the specific needs and interests of the class while also staying abreast of current events. Students network with business leaders throughout community and gain career knowledge from a large variety of resources.

Excited to get this year going with our 2027 Youth Leadership Hall Class with our GHS students!

Brandon Saldana interned with Gainesville City Fire Department during his senior year and continued to work during the summer. The skills he acquired during this experience will prepare him for his next steps in college and in life. Thank you to Chief Brandon Ellis and his crew for pouring into our interns! 🔴🐘🚒

We cannot wait to see all of our new and returning WBL students for the 2026-2027 school year! We will hold a MANDATORY 2-DAY ORIENTATION during the first two days of school! Students must attend and complete in order to remain in WBL. Go Big Red! 🔴🐘
