Come out for fun, hands-on STEM programs
June 10: World of Water with the Gainesville Department of Water Resources. Learn all about the World of Water from water quality, stormwater, conservation, treatment, reclamation and more in this fun, hands-on program. Dress to get wet, at the end you'll go down to the stream at Wilshire Trails Park to gain some real-life experience (weather permitting).
June 17: Dino Days. Ignite your imagination with these activities centered around DINOSAURS and their prehistoric world!
June 24: Beneath the Surface. Explore the world under your feet! You’ll dig up fun as we learn about the underground world.
These programs are free, but space is limited. Free tickets will be given 30 minutes before each program.

Unearth a Story with Mahealani's Polynesian Entertainment this summer!
Through interactive dancing, rhythm and storytelling, discover Māori culture like you've never seen it before!
Learn about the only living mokouki (dinosaur), the tuatara, which is the only surviving reptile species that lived during the age of the dinosaurs!
Hear the story of tuatara drifting with New Zealand and how they became part of the Māori origin story.
Try Māori arts and sports like ti rakau (the stick game) and poi (balls on a string).Sing along to Māori songs like "Kia Kaha Tuatara!"
