Something about this just doesn’t add up.

I fly Delta all the time and I’m a Diamond Medallion member, so I have a deep appreciation for the airline and its pilots. But based on what I’ve seen, I’m having a very hard time understanding how this collision could have happened—or whether it truly could not have been avoided.

I hope Delta conducts a thorough and transparent investigation into exactly what happened, including the decisions, communications, procedures, and situational awareness in the cockpit leading up to the incident.

Most importantly, I want to know why this happened and whether it could have been prevented. If there were errors in judgment or missed opportunities to avoid the collision, those questions need to be answered.

Safety has to come first—every single time.

Before you hire an executive-protection firm, ask one question:

Will your privacy be protected—or turned into their next sales pitch?

I was recently reviewing several security-company websites and was shocked to see firms publicly displaying photos of celebrity clients and advertising exactly who they work for.

Then, in the same breath, they claim to be “discreet,” “confidential,” and “trusted by the elite.”

Which one is it?

If your client’s identity, photograph, location, or association with a security company is being used to attract the next customer, that isn’t discretion. That’s advertising.

And in the executive-protection business, your client should never become your billboard.

At Fischer Protection Group, we operate by a very different standard.

We do not post our clients. We do not name-drop. We do not reveal locations. We do not publish assignments. We do not use client photographs for marketing.

Our clients are not trophies. Their privacy is not a promotional opportunity.

We understand something that should be obvious in this industry:

The best security professionals don’t need to tell the world who they protect.

Owned and operated by a U.S. Army Veteran with 33 years of protecting the elite in business and the entertainment industry, Fischer Protection Group believes confidentiality isn’t something you advertise.

It’s something you prove.

The CEO of a prominent fashion company and his wife were found shot dead outside their home in the hills overlooking UC Berkeley on Friday morning.
Berkeley police responded to the area around 10:48 a.m. after reports of gunshots. Officers discovered married couple Bryan Walker, 61, and Michelle Walker, 63, and immediately administered life-saving measures. Both were later pronounced dead at the scene.

A serious attempted hijacking/crash incident occurred today, September 30, 2026, involving flydubai Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv.

* The aircraft was carrying 174 passengers.
* According to Israeli officials and multiple reports, the co-pilot stabbed the captain and apparently attempted to crash the Boeing 737.
* The aircraft then plunged roughly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds.
* Passengers and an off-duty/other crew member reportedly entered the cockpit and restrained the attacker.
* The aircraft diverted and made an emergency landing at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
* The passengers were subsequently flown safely to Israel.
* The suspected attacker was arrested by Saudi authorities, and the motive remains under investigation.

One important distinction: early reports initially described it as a possible hijacking, while the precise circumstances and motive are still being investigated. Flydubai itself has said the underlying reasons were not yet known and urged against premature conclusions.

This is an extraordinary example of passengers and crew responding to an unfolding cockpit emergency.
