Hunt Library Re-Opening
What a fantastic day! Attendees flooded in, city and community booths buzzed with excitement, speeches resonated, food trucks satisfied our cravings, and not a single raindrop dared to fall!
A heartfelt shout-out to our tireless helpers Joan Mears, Naomi Zoeman, Kim DeWolf, Megan Watson, Kristine Dennehy, David Lee, Monica Torres, Egleth Nuncci, Ellen Ballard, Carol Panko, Dee Steedman, and Sueling Chen, - both at our booth and inside the library.
The day was a tapestry of memories: families with children too young to recall the original Hunt Library, adults who once roamed around as Pacific Drive students, and mothers who brought their now-adult kids to Wednesday story hours. And let’s not forget the delightful gentleman whose mother was a librarian at the Hunt.
Gratitude fills our hearts for Judy Booth, Jaime Cortes, the entire library staff, and Parks and Recs. Together, we made this ribbon-cutting day truly unforgettable!
