Did you notice...our two bread programs this fall go hand in hand! Niobrara Grain and Milling will be joining us next Monday to share about their organic grains that are grown and milled into flour right here in Nebraska and Becker's Breads will join us in November to teach how she makes sourdough using Niobrara Grain and Milling flour! Join us to learn more!

It's time to begin talking about fall programs! We are excited to welcome Becker's Breads on Monday, November 23 to teach a beginner sourdough class! Your $50 class fee includes hands on experience mixing a shaped loaf to bake at home, recipe & instructions, a mature sourdough starter to take home, seasonal sourdough bread tasting and a 3-lb bag of flour from Niobrara Grain & Milling.

Supplies to bring from home: a large mixing bowl 3 qt or larger, a cover for the bowl, large spoon to stir with and an apron if you have one.

Class size is limited. Registration is required. You will pay the instructor the day of the class.

Coffee & Conversation tomorrow at 10:30!

Our weeded book sale begins tomorrow 10 am-5 pm and lasts through Friday. Join us for coffee & conversation tomorrow at 10:30 and browse the books available!

Our Mental Health Lunch & Learn was this morning! We had 16 attendees who joined us to learn more. They enjoyed a lunch of vegetable beef & chicken noodle soup as well as a sandwich board with fruit and cookies. We had stations set up with information & creative things to help manage stress as well as a book display and resources for local therapists in the area. Thank you so much to our speakers Melissa Griffin, Annette Dubas and Chantal Kohl. Thank you to Hudson Carr for making the delicious peanut butter cookies. And thank you to those who joined us. It was a common topic that we all want to know more ways we can help those that are struggling in our lives. Stay tuned for upcoming programs to focus on ways we can do that!
