Pleased to announce Jill Replogle is joining our team to teach Broadcast News this fall. She is an NPR editor and reporter at KPCC. She has been a journalist for more than 15 years, reporting on everything from local and international politics to crime and drug violence, to environmental and public health issues. She's reported from Central America, Mexico, and California. She has produced radio and video features for PRI, Current TV, KPBS in San Diego, and the Video Journalism Movement. It’s with great pleasure and excitement that we can announce that the Spanish Language Media Certificate was finally approved by the state! What started in 2011, is officially the only program like it currently offered in the California community college system!

Pleased to announce Jessica Langlois will be joining the Journalism Department in the fall as a full-time instructor. She has written news, features, and essays for Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Oakland Tribune and LA Weekly. She has taught journalism and creative writing at Loyola Marymount University, UC Berkeley and CalState Northridge. Currently co-captain of the Journalism & Women Symposium (JAWS) Southern California group. We are excited to have her in the program!
