Former Yankees baseball star, Alex Rodriguez, discusses his periodontal disease diagnosis and states the facts: 65 million Americans, nearly half of adults aged 30 years and older have some form of periodontal disease. We are excited about this new partnership between oral health products company, Orapharma, and Rodriguez to increase awareness about the importance of annual visits to the dentist for a restorative examination and periodontist for a comprehensive periodontal evaluation.

Dr. Clem served as the Principal Investigator for this multicenter, randomized, masked, and controlled study demonstrating the ERL is not inferior to MIST in terms of clinical outcomes but is superior in Patient Reported Outcomes for the surgical treatment of intrabony defects.
