The shell is officially shot, shaped, and solid. Gunite day is where the design becomes real โ curves, depth, steps, benches, all locked into place.
The Spinella backyard just took a major leap toward its final look, and weโre rolling strong into the next phase.
Starting a new project out in Parker, Texas. This backyard will include a custom pool and spa, an extended patio, and a cool rain descent feature to help bring the whole space together. Itโs always exciting to see a new project get underway and start taking shape from the ground up.

The first cave in on this project was a lot easier to deal with because there was no rebar or plumbing in the ground yet. This time is different. Now that those stages are in, it may mean cutting out some of the rebar and removing plumbing so everything can be corrected the right way. The important part is this: the homeowner will not be charged extra for any of it. Tidal Wave Custom Pools stands behind the work and handles situations like this without pushing added costs back onto the customer.

The shell is going in and this backyard is officially taking shape. Nothing beats watching a design turn into a real pool right in front of you โ smooth walls, clean lines, and solid craftsmanship all the way through. ๐ฅ๐๏ธ
Sometimes weather can create a real setback on a jobsite. On this project, the rain caused a cave-in, which bent the rebar and damaged some of the plumbing, so part of the pool has to be dug back out and redone the right way. A lot of companies would turn around and charge the homeowner a muck-out fee or add extra costs in a situation like this. Tidal Wave Custom Pools does not do that. If something has to be corrected, it gets corrected โ without adding charges back to the homeowner.
