Climb aboard the Voyager, Clear Creek ISD’s bookmobile, as it brings stories, creativity, and discovery to neighborhoods across the district this summer! Every stop offers a new adventure designed to spark imagination and inspire a love of reading. 📚💛

Families are invited to join us for this come-and-go event, where children can pick up free books, enjoy engaging activities, and take home a makerspace project. Any child is welcome to attend any stop and participate in the fun.

Clear Tech Virtual Program, a partnership between Clear Creek ISD and Texas Tech K-12, gives families the freedom of a flexible virtual learning schedule with the quality, support and relationships students need to thrive.

Available to elementary, intermediate and high school students across Texas, Clear Tech blends online learning with in-person support designed to keep students connected. High school begins with a ninth-grade cohort, with additional grade levels coming in 2027-28.

🌞 Hola Amigos - Spanish Conversation Club | Summer 2026 🌞
Calling all CCISD Dual Language families!

This summer, we’ll be hosting an informal, regularly scheduled afternoon play group at the Freeman Library in Clear Lake where elementary-aged children can practice conversational Spanish while playing with Legos, making crafts, listening to stories, and spending time together in a fun and welcoming environment.

Hola Amigos - Spanish Conversation Club is a relaxed, parent-led group with very little structure. Our goal is simply to create opportunities for kids to hear and use Spanish naturally while building friendships and confidence in their language skills through play and creativity.

📚 The group will also help connect families with library resources, including:
• Spanish-language children’s books
• Information about library cards
• The library’s summer reading program
• Other family resources and activities

We also hope to include occasional volunteer-led Spanish story times!

💡 Parents Meeting - Wed, May 27 at 6:00 PM at Freeman Library

If you have ideas, would like to help make this group the best resource possible, or are interested in helping the group run smoothly, please join us! Since this is a parent-led community group, we would love additional support and ideas from other families.

We are currently looking for:
✨ Donations of craft supplies, Legos, or individually wrapped snacks/prizes for the kids
✨ Volunteers to read to the children in Spanish
✨ Volunteers to help with room setup and cleanup (so the library will still like us when we’re done 😊)

🌞 Hola Amigos - Club de Conversación en Español | Verano 2026 🌞

¡Llamando a todas las familias del programa bilingüe de CCISD!

Este verano tendremos un grupo informal de juego por las tardes en la Biblioteca Freeman en Clear Lake, donde niños de edad primaria podrán practicar español conversacional mientras juegan con Legos, hacen manualidades, escuchan cuentos y conviven en un ambiente divertido y acogedor.

Hola Amigos - Club de Conversación en Español es un grupo relajado y dirigido por padres, con muy poca estructura formal. Nuestro objetivo es crear oportunidades para que los niños escuchen y usen el español de manera natural mientras desarrollan amistades y confianza en sus habilidades lingüísticas a través del juego y la creatividad.

📚 El grupo también ayudará a conectar a las familias con recursos de la biblioteca, incluyendo:
• Libros infantiles en español
• Información sobre cómo obtener tarjetas de biblioteca
• El programa de lectura de verano
• Otros recursos y actividades familiares

¡También esperamos incluir ocasionalmente lecturas de cuentos en español dirigidas por voluntarios!

Si tienen ideas, desean ayudar a que este grupo sea el mejor recurso posible, o están interesados en colaborar para que el grupo funcione sin problemas, ¡los invitamos a acompañarnos!
