After 43 incredible years, we’re celebrating the retirement of a true Minco legend — Gary Engelbrecht.

Gary’s journey with Minco Products started as a Student Engineer while attending college. He was hired as a full-time Engineer for our QA Measurements Lab, moved into Production Engineering, transitioned into Marketing, then Sales, and spent the remainder of his career as an Applications Engineer for our Temperature Sensing and Control Solutions product lines.

Beyond his technical expertise and deep product knowledge, Gary is simply one of the best people you’ll ever work with. A quick wit, perfectly timed one-liners, and an arsenal of wholesome dad jokes made even the busiest days better. He’s the kind of teammate everyone respects, trusts, and genuinely enjoys being around.

Wishing Gary a retirement filled with family time, new adventures, and plenty of opportunities to keep those dad jokes sharp. You’ll always be a Minco icon.
