Hi y’al, it’s Rich Mua Kong Thao here! I am an actor, writer, producer, and director going for about 10 years now but professionally for about 5.
I started my journey in dance at a young age and slowly transition to a film based career instead. At the age of 15, I joined HAC(iykyk) and got involved in the Hmong community where I helped and volunteered for events both big and small.
Around college I decided to pursue acting full time and it led me to commercials, short films, and even work on series.
Right now I am following my mental health journey by promoting positive masculinity not only in my communities but in the world as a whole.
Join Mai Vee and I on our journey as we support and challenge each other to be the very best of who we are. Thanks!

Hello Everyone.
This is Mai Vee Vang one of your cohost.
I began my career in the entertainment industry as a model I start modeling when I was 14 to generate income.
My parents didn’t allow me to work, so this was my loophole.
That eventually led me to acting and through acting and modeling these two careers were able to get my foot through many doors,
really being a nobody.
I’ve had or created the opportunities to meet many incredible people in the entertainment industry and have experienced quite a bit really again for being a nobody.
If I had a special talent it would be how far I’ve gotten for really having no accolades to share, haha.
Overall to the best of my ability, I would say I am a storyteller who utilizes art as her medium. Creating art is my nature and being around other passionate artists and cocreating or helping them create their art is what I like to do.
