Last Saturday was an afternoon filled with movement through "Luigi” Jazz! We learned exercises, dance steps, and information about Luigi, from Daunne with Island Dance And Gymnastics.
Let's Dance series, a collaborative effort from the Clinton, Langley Library, and Freeland Library, to offer introductory experiences to different dances that can be performed as an individual while making connections with others.

Friends of the Freeland Library Book Sale will take place on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00am-2:00pm. Get a collection of books ready to read by a fire on those cold and dreary days!
Book sales are held in the library's meeting room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Hundreds of books for all ages available by donation, or, fill a bag for $20.00! We accept cash, check, credit or debit cards, and Venmo. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Freeland Library and support library programs, services, and materials.

Did you know the South Whidbey Sno-Isle Libraries host two afterschool book groups a month at the South Whidbey Community Center? Kids get a free copy of the book that they can read and keep in their own library or give to a friend. Registration is required so we can get the book to the kiddos before the session.

Join us for Homeschool Meetup: Glow in the Dark on Thursday, October 8th from 11:00-12:00. We will make glow in the dark slime and art with inspiration from the Aaron Reynolds Creepy Tales! We hope to see you there!
This is a monthly meetup where homeschool families can connect and share experiences in a welcoming space. The library will provide a hands-on activity focused on art, STEM, or literacy, along with information about available library resources. Activities will be geared toward the ages 5-10 but all ages are welcome to attend.

Learn to knit a hat in 5 weeks! This program series taught by Christi Rosenberger will cover essential knitting skills including casting on, ribbing variations, crown decreases, and finishing techniques. All levels of experience are welcome! Supplies will be provided.
Participants will register for the full series and expect to attend every class.
