BRISTOL!!! What a homecoming! First our bus breaks down less than a mile outside Hotel Bristol, we somehow roll in, play an amazing kickoff show on the rooftop, and then the bus saga continues! Flip literally crawls into the engine bay and gets covered with oil, hot coolant, and other wonderful bus liquids! Then we have it towed to Assault Diesel, where Kevin and his crew helped pinpoint the exact reason why our bus keeps breaking down, fixed everything they could and pointed us to where we could get the parts they didn’t have so we could finish the job! They sent us on our way to the Cumberland Park stage and while we set up, and played another mechanic installed our new air compressor! IT WAS SO GOOD BEING BACK IN BRISTOL!!!! You all know how to make a band feel welcome! We had a blast, we hung with our friends The Creekers who also had bus problems, and got to hang with friends we haven’t seen in years! We hope to be back soon, and can’t wait for the next Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion !
