🏳️‍⚧️❤️ Community care means showing up when our neighbors need us.

A friend of Pride On The Patio is coordinating food assistance for families affected by ICE raids in Frederick County, with donations being collected Tuesday evenings at Showroom.

Regardless of politics or citizenship status, dependents left behind can still face hunger and hardship when a caregiver is detained or a household suddenly loses income.

If you're able to help, current needs include canned vegetables (no beans right now), tomato sauce, cereal, mayonnaise, coffee, baby food and baby cereal, peanut butter, and jam or jelly.

📍 Showroom | 882 N East St, Frederick
🗓️ Tuesdays | 5:30–9 PM

A small donation from one person can become a full pantry when enough neighbors pitch in. ❤️

❤️🏳️‍🌈 This is about taking care of our neighbors.

Whatever your politics or feelings about immigration policy, there’s a human reality that can get lost in the debate: when a parent, caregiver, or breadwinner is suddenly detained or unable to work, the people who depend on them may be left behind needing food and basic necessities. Children still need breakfast. Babies still need to eat. Families still need groceries.

A friend of Pride On The Patio has organized a food drive and is coordinating the collection and distribution of donations to local families affected by 🧊 in Frederick County. Pride On The Patio is proud to serve as a weekly collection point at Showroom. 🏳️‍🌈

🥫 Most needed right now: canned vegetables (corn, peas and mixed vegetables—no beans right now), canned tomato sauce, cereal, mayonnaise, coffee (especially Bustelo), baby food and baby cereal, peanut butter, and jam or jelly.

You don’t have to attend Pride On The Patio or purchase anything at Showroom to help. Just stop by with whatever you’re able to give. One jar, one box or a few cans can make a difference.

Regardless of politics or citizenship status, people left behind can still go hungry. No political litmus test. No judgment. Just neighbors helping neighbors. ❤️
