Frederick Laundry

✨ Business Appreciation Week ✨

Today was a great opportunity to connect with the Frederick County Office of Economic Development’s Business Appreciation Week ambassadors and share about Frederick Laundry

We had the opportunity to

🔘Share my story,
🔘Talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly,
🔘Discuss my vision for inclusive employment,
🔘And learn more about the resources available to support small businesses in Frederick County.

Still plenty of work to do and laundry to wash, but still excited about what’s ahead.

Frederick Laundry

Sometimes life gives you a “gentle” reminder to slow tf down

Some days the laundry pile is just laundry. Other days, it gives you exactly the reminder you needed to hear

✨you matter✨
✨your feelings are valid✨
✨you can do the hard things✨
✨you are enough✨
✨your words matter✨
✨you are loved✨

When I started Frederick Laundry, every pick up, every delivery, every load, every phone call, every social media post, every invoice…. it was ya girl 👋🏼

And lately, that’s started to change ❣️

Between running the business, being a caregiver, and trying to be a functioning human, I realized I couldn’t keep doing 10-20 hour days by myself.

So… I hired some amazing people that will help make Frederick Laundry’s mission possible.

Every order, every referral, every kind word, and every share helped us get here. Thank you for being part of this journey

Some places are more than just a business, they become part of your journey. Thanks for giving us a place to laugh, let loose, and a judgement-free zone to let out all of life’s frustrations ❣️

From our first rage to the last 💥
