From designing the Alive @ 5 posters and event tickets to enjoying the music together, Alive @ 5 was a full-circle kind of night for our team. We’re grateful to get to work on projects that become part of the community we call home and even more grateful when we get to step away from the work and experience them together.

Our partnership with Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area has come full circle, starting with a refreshed brand experience and growing into a complete marketing partnership supporting print, digital, and visitor engagement.

After launching a new website, we expanded our work to redesign HCWHA’s brochure, enhance their marketing materials, and lead their digital advertising efforts. By creating a connected experience across every touchpoint, we’ve helped HCWHA tell their story and reach more visitors.

Their updated brochure has been in such high demand, they are hard to keep in stock showing the power of a strong, cohesive brand experience that connects with audiences.

As HCWHA continues to inspire visitors to explore Carroll, Frederick, and Washington County’s rich history, we’re proud to support the work that drives tourism, strengthens community engagement, and contributes to our local economy.

At Postern, we’ve had a front-row seat to Rick Weldon’s deep commitment to Frederick County and its people. He has been one of the strongest supporters for our community, always lifting up the people, businesses and ideas that make Frederick such a special place to live, work and grow.

As a small business rooted in this community, we’ve felt the impact of that advocacy ourselves. Rick has helped create a community where local businesses can connect, grow and thrive, and we’re grateful to have been among the many he has championed along the way.

Rick’s impact reaches across Frederick County and so far beyond. He has always led with the understanding that, despite our differences, there is so much more that connects us. He has touched countless lives through his leadership and his deep belief in what people can accomplish when they come together.

As one chapter closes and a new one begins, we’re grateful for everything Rick has given to our community. And knowing him, we’re certain the next chapter will be just as intentional and impactful as the last.

This week, Eve and Sierra attended the S.H.E. Week Conference presented by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, a day centered around the theme "Unleash".

S.H.E. represents Strength, Heart, and Equality, and the conference brought those values to life through meaningful conversations, personal stories, and actionable tools for leadership and growth.

When the Waltz family chose to celebrate 70 years of business by investing $70K into Frederick community non-profits, they wanted to ensure the messaging was rooted in their genuine gratitude. Postern had the honor of amplifying their thank-you with a PR strategy that focused on humility and impact over exposure.

How do you build a digital foundation for a company that’s been shaping America’s skyline and keeping roofs over our heads since 1973?

We took on a massive website overhaul for Canam Steel Corporation —a powerhouse in US manufacturing. For a national giant of this scale, a website is a critical business hub for customers, engineers, and future team members.

We built a comprehensive new website from the ground up, starting with a custom stylescape to capture their gritty, authentic aesthetic and carrying that vision through to a modernized user flow.
