We are often asked how we make our Fire Hose nets so straight and measured out to spec. Well, everything is drawn out to width and height requested by the customer in our Optitex Design Software to ensure everything meets the desired size. From there it goes to our automated hot cutter, where the webbing is cut to length then goes back to the table where it is laid out on a printed template before it is clipped together from there it heads to the sewing table to be sewn. Below you will see start to finish of Custom Cross Lay Nets designed and made by our Engineer Thomas for a new Client Specialized Fire Equipment Service in Middletown, PA for a new Fire Engine out fitting they are finishing up. These Training Rope Bags arethe same bag style bags used by the Fire Department of New York but with some of our In house Engineer Thomas’s personal upgrades for strength and durability. The LIFE SAVING ROPE BAG version of this bag is typically carried by the “roofman” for their life saving rope. This bag is ideal in station and the training grounds for most fire-rescue applications. It can carry the FDNY specified 150’ of 9/16” 3 strand rescue rope or 175’ of 1/2” 2 person static kernmantle life safety rope.
