The Frederick Rescue Mission

Today, we honored Brian Hart, our Facilities Manager, as he begins his retirement after nine years of faithful service to the Mission.

For nearly a decade, Brian has worked behind the scenes to care for and maintain the Mission’s properties, helping create safe, welcoming spaces for the people we serve. His hard work, dedication, and faithfulness have made a lasting impact.

We are incredibly grateful for Brian and all he has given to the Mission. We will miss him terribly, but we are excited for him as he begins this next chapter!

We all carry burdens, but Jesus’ burden is way lighter than what we carry. He wants to trade.

We celebrated a milestone at Faith House this week! One resident progressed through our Thriving Future program, while two others graduated from our transitional living phase.

One resident shared her powerful story of overcoming abuse, the heartbreaking loss of her son to an overdose, and homelessness. Today, she has a steady job and is preparing to purchase her own home. We are grateful to celebrate these women and the bright futures ahead of them!

Mission of Mercy brought their mobile dental office back to the Mission today, providing much-needed dental care to our residents and guests. Their team brought relief to those who might otherwise go without care. We’re grateful for their compassion and commitment to serving our neighbors!

Love & Company brought energy, hard work, and great attitudes to the Food Distribution Center this morning! We’re grateful for their willingness to serve our neighbors in need and help make a difference in our community. Thank you, Love & Co.!
