Every walk I take fills me with joy as I see new life bursting the bonds of Winter.

Growth doesn’t always look like progress. Sometimes it looks like waiting… or stillness… or silence.

Stillness isn’t wasted time.

It’s often the environment where God shapes what will last.

When life is uncomfortable or restrictive, that may be the very condition God is using to create beauty we couldn’t imagine.

You are not stalled or forgotten.
You are being re-formed.

❄️🌨️Winter Ahead🌨️❄️

We are expecting winter storms this weekend. They could be ice or snow or a combination. But all the news channels agree we’re going to get something!
◽️
I’m excited because here in SC we don’t get a lot of winter precipitation. But some people panic. They rush to the grocery stores and buy bread and milk. And suddenly all the store shelves are empty.
◽️
I like to be prepared, so I’ll charge my extra batteries, and make sure I have some food to eat that doesn’t require cooking—in case the power goes out. But mainly I’m anticipating the ability to see God do something beautiful.
◽️
I think we can apply this spiritually. There are a lot of storms coming our way in this world. We can panic or we can view this time as an opportunity to see God work in ways we didn’t expect.

🍃Spring is Coming🌱

I was scrolling through my pics from last spring and I came across this image. It’s rainy and cold outside and seeing this picture made me remember the warmth of spring and it brought a smile to my face.

I thought I’d share because maybe someone else needs to be reminded that spring is coming!

Sometimes when everything is dreary. Dark, and cold. We need to remember that spring will come again.
◽️
Spiritually we can face long winters too. But God always brings us a spring when we remain steadfast and focused on him.

God is gentle with the places we feel the most fragile.

If your heart is tired, you’re not failing. You’re human. And you’re loved.

You are held — even when your strength is gone.

He meets us right in the middle — not after we have it all together.

Some days we just breathe and let God hold what we can’t.

Even in the dim places, God’s light is still reaching for us.

🌕📷Full Moon Last Night 📷🌝

Got a fun phone call last night from asking if I wanted to go an adventure with the grands and look at the full moon! Of course the answer was YES!!!!
▪️
This invite (unknown by anyone but me) was a bucket list on my grandmother list. Getting to share fun times and my love of the outdoors with my family was a gift from God!
▪️
And although I couldn’t have cared less about getting good photos, God added that blessing into the experience as well ❤️❤️❤️
