Scot is a former geometry teacher and coach, and he brought some incredible insights. We talked about what it really takes to run a modern district, and he dropped the ultimate leadership analogy:
"Basketball is the ultimate game of teamwork. Sometimes you gotta do the dirty work. You gotta dive on the floor, do the things that go unnoticed. And that’s what running a school system is all about."
From managing district-wide alignment to keeping the ultimate focus on the kids, this is an episode you don't want to miss.
