Properly watering your commercial property helps it look its best.

Here’s a quick guide to keeping your turf and plants healthy all season long:

✅ Water early in the morning. This is the best time because it’s cooler, the wind is calm, and water can soak into the roots before the day heats up. Try to set your irrigation system to run before sunrise if you can.

✅ Water deeply, but not too often. If you water just a little and often, roots stay near the surface, and your turf is more likely to suffer from heat and drought. Deep, less frequent watering helps roots grow down and makes your landscape stronger.

✅ Try not to water in the middle of the day. Much of the water will evaporate before it can reach the soil, especially as the weather gets warmer.

✅ Avoid watering at night. When moisture sits on grass and plants overnight, it can lead to fungal diseases and other problems that are more expensive to fix than to prevent.
