The 1st Infantry Division Brass Band performs at the Change of Responsibility ceremony for the 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, May 12, 2026. We wish outgoing Command Sgt. Major Jeremiah Enfield all the best at his new assignment, and congratulations to the incoming Command Sgt. Major John Donovan. Duty First!

The “Big Red Fun” Brass Band brought the music to Junction City’s Balloons, Bands & BBQ celebration on May 9th. It was a beautiful day for families to enjoy a variety of fun activities, including a car show, local craft vendors, and tandem skydiving. We had so much fun being a part of this event!

Celebrating the Big Red One Year of Legacy: the 1st Infantry Division Band provides the musical motivation for the annual Victory Week Division run held on May 6, 2026. Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael R. Weimer joined the Division for the run, which began with the singing of the Division song and concluded with the 1812 Overture, complete with cannon fire provided by 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery.
