📢 New FY26 Combatives Dates Approved! 🥋🔥

In order to register for a class, go through your Schools NCO armed with these dates. We do accept walk-ons, but it’s first come, first served and requires pre-approval from your chain of command.

📢 Update on the Fort Riley Boxing Fight Night 🥊

Due to the current federal funding situation, the October 9th "KO in the AO 2" fight night has been postponed. We are working to secure a new date in the near future, and want to assure everyone that the event will happen.

As soon as details are finalized, we’ll announce the new date. Thank you for your patience and continued support we look forward to bringing the boxing community together soon! 💪

🔥 Another solid morning on the mats!
Today, we had the privilege of training with HHC, 1-1 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion during Combatives PT.

Soldiers got hands-on with rear naked choke techniques and defenses, followed by live rolling to apply what they learned under pressure.
Solid effort. Great energy. Strong warrior spirit.

🥋 Farewell to a Fort Riley Combatives Legend 🥋

Today we say goodbye to one of the sharpest warriors to ever step foot on our mats SSG Zalcik, known to most as "SSG Z" or “The Prague Punisher.”

As a Master Combatives Certified Instructor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and an absolute MMA beast in the cage, SSG Z brought an unmatched level of skill, intensity, and mentorship to the Fight House.

For years, he served as the lead instructor, pushing Soldiers past their limits, building champions, and setting the standard for what it means to be lethal, disciplined, and humble.

SSG Z your impact here is permanent. You elevated the game, forged warriors, and left a legacy on every mat and in every Soldier who trained under you.

Good luck at Fort Bragg! your gaining a monster, a mentor, and a master of the fight.

With the Fort Riley Combatives gym in the middle of a move, we took the fight outside literally.
This morning, 2nd Platoon, A Co, 1-18 IN got after it with Combatives PT in the tire pit.

Dirt. Sweat. Pressure.
No distractions, just warriors doing what warriors do:
Training to dominate in close combat anywhere, anytime.

This is what adaptability and grit look like.
Infantry strong. Warrior built.
