We are excited to announce some of our upcoming lineup of community events for our Military Service Members, Family Members and Retirees!

This month, the New Parent Support Program is hosting a Splash Pad Play Group, Employment Readiness is offering a Virtual Class on Tricks and Tips for Interviews, and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management HR Solutions, USAJOBS is presenting the "Write Your Impact. Build Your Future." Webinar. Looking ahead, the EFMP Rodeo taking place in July. The ACS June calendar is also provided.

This week’s features the Adult Active-Duty Family Member Category Winner in our Volunteer of the Year series. 28 Adult Family member volunteers were nominated for their work with unit SFRGs, USO, Fort Riley Chapel Services, Black Tie Tactical and the Fort Riley Spouses Club among others.

The Adult Active-Duty Family Member of the Year for 2025 was Mrs. Kate Busk. Mrs. Busk dedicated more than 460 hours to the Fort Riley community through her service with Operation Santa Claus, the Fort Riley Thrift Store, and the Fort Riley Middle School PTO. Her support was a pivotal component in the smooth operation of Operation Santa Claus.

Thank you, Mrs. Kate Bush and all the Adult Active-Duty Family member volunteers, for your tireless commitment to making our Fort Riley community a better place for everyone.

EFMP and ACS are excited to announce our EFMP Summer events. Please join us for our EFMP Swim lessons and Special Needs Rodeo.

Please see the Swim Lesson flyer for dates and register for each lesson you would like by using the QR code. There is no limit to which dates you would like to register for. The whole family is invited to participate in the swim lessons. There will be a 30 minute instruction followed by recreational swim for the remainder of the time.

For the special needs rodeo being held on 18 July, 2026, please use the QR code to register. Make sure you include all children’s shirt sizes in the registration form. The rodeo offers, horse rides, learn how to rope cattle, carriage rides and food for all.
