German chocolate cake!

I loved making this simple sea themed cake for my daughter’s birthday tea party! She wanted mint chocolate and it was a fun new flavor!

Just a little baby cake I made! Frosting a 3” square is more difficult than you’d think! 😆

“When life gives you lemons, make lemon curd!” A double batch in fact! I’ve been wanting to make curd for awhile! One of my favorite cake fillings! 😋 lucky me, I get to enjoy this for my twin’s birthday cake!

This was one of my kid’s cakes, but it melted before I got a good picture! I like when I don’t have to party plan, cook, set up, and remember to take pictures 😝 (actually I love that too)
