Our first week of summer camp was sensational! 🤩

Our friends explored nature, mixing natural materials to create potions, explore pouring at the sensory table, building ramps with blocks, risky play, painting with turmeric, homemade lemonade, picking tomatoes in the garden, and much more. Thankful to our teachers who curate an environment of hands on learning.

Looking forward to what awaits us for week 2 - “Cooking” at TLT Summer Camp!

📚 YEARBOOKS ARE HERE! 📚

It's been an honor to create my final yearbook for The Learning Tree. For the last four years, I have relived my highschool days of being on the yearbook team, by creating a cherished keepsake for our amazing families. This task would not have been possible without my loyal yearbook co-creator - Kate Belden (mom to Madeline & Jack). Thank you to all the parents and staff who submitted photos for us to consider. We reviewed so many amazing memories from this school year. If I could, the book would have been twice in size to include all of the precious photos we received. We hope your child enjoys flipping through the pages with you as you all head down memory lane - it's been an incredible year!

Each family will receive 1 FREE yearbook. These yearbooks are a part of your PAC dues. Yearbooks will be distributed by your classroom teacher at drop of or pick up on Thursday and Friday. For those families with siblings, your one book will be in the oldest child's classroom for pick up. VPK students will receive their books in their classroom and take them home after they have had their "signing" day.

You don’t want to miss our last school fundraiser 🤩

Meals must be picked up on Wednesday, May 27 between 1pm - 4pm at the school.

Earlier today I shared photos of our most recent addition - the garden. While watering our plants today, one of our students discovered a potato. As we continue to search we found more. Friends, today was harvesting day! We have potatoes and tomatoes 😍.

Earlier this year we transformed one of our outdoor spaces into our school garden. It’s has been a labor of love from all- parents, teachers, and students 💚. Nurturing this space and everything in it is spectacular. This space invites curiosity, creativity, responsibility, and endless opportunities for learning.

Imagine our surprise walking into a tropical themed staff meeting. From coconut bowls to adorable wooden spoons. The menu included blue chips, guacamole, jicama, variety of veggies, bubbly water, and dark chocolate truffles. A labor of love, we are truly GRATEFUL 💚.
