Defend the Fatherless

Our Back2School Shoe Store was an incredible success! 💙👟
Local foster and adoptive children submitted their shoe wishes, and Lifepointe Church made those wishes come true by purchasing brand-new shoes for every child. Each wish got a few options and then families then got to “shop” our shoe store, finding the perfect pair to kick off the school year with confidence.
This year, we welcomed a record number of children, and the community showed up in a huge way.
💙 Lifepointe Church fulfilled every shoe wish.
🎒 New River Church provided backpacks for each child.
🍧 Elevation Church provided school supplies, Kona Ice, bounce houses, and volunteers who made every family feel seen and celebrated.
This event is proof of what happens when a community comes together around children. More than new shoes and backpacks, these kids walked away knowing they are loved, valued, and worthy of being celebrated.
Thank you to every church, volunteer, donor, and supporter who made this day possible. Because of you, hundreds of children will walk into their classrooms this year with confidence, dignity, and a reminder that they are not alone. 💛
