Help stop algae in our waterways!

Excessive yard waste and fertilizers wash down storm drains, leading to nutrient loading.

Excessive nutrients fuel toxic, harmful algae blooms that damage our waterways and kill wildlife.

β€’ Sweep it up: Keep grass clippings off pavement.
β€’ Measure fertilizer: Use only what your lawn needs.
β€’ Go native: Choose plants that require fewer chemicals.
