Home Run Hoofstand LLC
Hoof Stand made with marine grade plastics. Bottom layer is Dri-dek, which splays when weight is added. Made for use with an angle grinder.
Does not slip on cement. Helps horses who cannot easily bend to a normal height stand.
Lovely clinic this weekend at The Humble Hoof. Fabulous scenery, great clinicians, and most importantly amazing hosts!

Alicia Harlov @ The Humble Hoof trying out a "Hoofzilla" size softball stand. We donated a stand to her, hopefully to be able to help with the kids who just can't properly lift a foot. I sent the larger stand so that if she ended up with some big kids (drafts), she'd have something that worked for everyone.
Just a really quick post to say I absolutely love my new Home Run Hoofstand LLC!
I’ve used it every day this week and the older horses are so much more comfortable. Top photo is a PPID/dropped fetlock horse, bottom photo is an older rescue horse who came with a whole slew of past issues, and his hind end can be tricky to hold up. Both loved their trims today.
(Photos are either pre trim or unfinished trims)
Here's a nice older girl who enjoys not having to lift very far

My husband made a "hoofzilla" for someone. She wanted something a bit bigger under her horse's large hoof. I've got to test one out on the draft I trim. Should be large enough to still have edges once his big boy foot is on it. We shall see...

Great week spent at Daisy Haven Farm. Enjoyed the learning and the new friendships. Definitely reminded of how much I enjoy living in a non-humid environment. Looking forward to returning for some one on one time :) I'm paying attention to Ellen, I'm just very seriously mixing the DIM.
When the puppy wants the hoofstand for himself :)
