Home Performance We are partners with the State's Focus on Energy program so you can receive rewards for completing recommended work.
HOME PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: also known as a home energy audit, uses performance testing and building science to help you upgrade your home's energy efficiency. If you have high energy bills, uncomfortable rooms, ice dams (or very large ice buildup), condensation or mold issues, or any other performance problems with your home, HP testing can help. By appointment, to fit your schedule. An evaluation takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on the size and complexity of your home.

So great to hang out with Tenley in Sofia this week. Weather was great, food was fabulous and the coffee fresh. Did a bit of exploring the countryside as well, even though the rail system is as confusing as can be. Back to the grind next week🤨

The Cities Of The 21st Century Will Be Defined By Water “If we only respond to the past, we will only get answers that fit the past,” says Dutch water expert Henk Ovink.
Apologies in advance to anyone who received this via my personal page:
Due to changes in Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program my business as an independent energy consultant has faded to almost nothing. The only way I can participate directly with the program is to become a contractor providing all aspects of the job from start to finish. This, however, leaves homeowners without an independent advocate for their projects, which is very valuable as home performance can be very broad, involving more than just the insulation contractor.
For this reason I have had my Home Inspection license reinstated so if you or anyone you know is buying a home I am here to help. I still hope to do energy efficiency testing and consulting, but have seen the need to expand my services.

Apart from my own personal frustration with the redesign of the Focus on Energy program, this article just bolsters the "big picture" stupidity of the coal pimps.

It has been some time since I've posted to the Grading Spaces page. This is due to the Green Madison/ME2 programs that were keeping me super-busy over the summer. Now that these have ended it's time to concentrate once again on doing what I've always loved about this business: helping homeowners improve their home's energy efficiency one report at a time.
