I want to live with this intensity today, this week, this month, the rest of my life!

It is a choice.

Does this happen if we are just sitting around “waiting” & “feeling sorry for ourselves?”

Or do we have to be moving toward our Destiny & purpose with the proper mindset?

Don’t stop!

Well Dad, one year ago today, you ran into eternity. Yes, we all belive you literally ran. 😊 You finished your race hear & started your eternal one breaking a sweat here as you took off.

Today Lori & Sara & I will all be together remembering in some cool ways. We know we will see & feel you in so many ways.

Right now, I’m sitting here with DeeDee & Donna on the back porch that you loved so much, in one of your rocking chairs watching the sun come up, enjoying your roses, & believing a day will come where we will all be together again. No more pain. No more brain issues. No more cancer. No more fear & anxiety. No more separation. No more disease. No more division. No more evil. It will all make sense & complete restoration will finally be done. I live for that day & believe how we live now matters. I’m glad you taught us to believe & live like that.

You showed us how to serve & love people as we do too. Our family will continue your legacy. Actually you’d be proud, I did a wedding zoom with a couple last night here at your house. That made me laugh.

We all love & miss you man! Geez, life is to short. Seems like yesterday you were coaching me on the ballfields here in Springhill. Painting that ugly bat with black spray paint & helping me believe I could do anything!

Yep, We will hang out again soon all the time, but not yet. I got some stuff to do, and I know you are cheering me on every step

Good morning!

Life is short. I’m reminded of that more everyday. Had a reminder of that with some news I heard about a friend yesterday.

Time flies by. Soak it up. Forgive. Make the call. Love. Find moments you can spend with those you love. You can’t get those moments back.

This morning I’m reflecting my dad Phillip Carroll. He would have loved this spot. There’s a lot of moments I wish I had a do over with my dad, but ultimately I’m thankful we both knew we were good.

Deep breath. Take it in. I’m practicing this even as I write this.

There’s a lot of answers I don’t have.
I’m not sure how some things will turn out.
I don’t know why certain things happen.

But, one thing I know and am confident of today.
God is, always has been, & always will be faithful.

How do I know that? I’ve experienced it, I’ve seen it, & I’m confident that my faith will become sight one day at a time. I’ve seen dark day. I believe.

I am reminded of his faithfulness everyday in multiple ways as I watch & listen. Today, He showed me this. I was watching & listening. I hope you are too.
