Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Landscaping Committee has decided to cancel this event. We plan to reschedule it for a later date and will share updated details once available.

Is ANYONE Wanting/Willing to Join the Dog Park Committee? Currently I am now the Chair and I have one other volunteer. It’s not a lot of meeting or work I promise!

We don’t need to meet every month but can if yall want to (and it can be a call or Zoom/Teams if in person isn’t preferred).

Only 2 Events per year that need actual volunteers to show up and help out. With a little minimal planning ahead of time.

One of our neighbors (Chico Gray) wanted help in getting the word out regarding an opportunity for kids to play Flag Football through i9 Sports this November. Leagues are open for ages 3–14.

A Yes Vote Lowers Crime in Our Neighborhood

“Your yes is a vote for safer neighborhoods.

Your yes allows more officers patrolling and doing the job they’re intended to do.

Your yes means all of the officers within our county can remain in our county when transporting a juvenile to the detention center. They’re frequently driving in excess of an hour, sometimes up to 6 hours outside the county to transport juveniles when there are no beds available. Without a juvenile detention center within the county, an exorbitant amount of ISD tax dollars goes to neighboring counties to educate these juveniles while in the detention center- taking away from YOUR child’s school.

Your no does not help rehab young criminals.

Your no doesn’t make anyone wealthier.

Your no doesn’t pay for a rec center.

Your no helps no one, unfortunately.

This detention center costs what it does because they have to meet the requirements of the state.

The detention center will have onsite counseling services and continued education through Kaufman ISD.

We have a crime problem within our youth. If you want to help solve the problem, say yes to Prop A and find other ways to get involved with the troubled youth of Kaufman County!”

CALL FOR CANDIDATES:

This is an important transition from a Declarant Board to a Homeowners Board! This means homeowners on the Board will manage the community going forward. All decisions will be made by homeowners who are running and elected for the four (4) Board positions during this election. This includes, ACC, amenities, events, etc. just to name a few.

The Travis Ranch Property Owners Association, Inc. is pleased to announce that a Virtual Election Meeting of the Members will soon be scheduled. As the community prepares to begin exiting the Declarant Control Period, the first order of business is to elect four (4) Class A Members to the Board of Directors, and we would like to invite you to apply.

After the deadline for returning Candidacy Forms expires, we will issue the Meeting Notice Packet which shall include the notice; meeting agenda; proxy; ballot listing all candidates; and copies of the candidates’ statements.
