Even as we travel, we make time for learning! Today's review was on There, Their and They're...because there are a lot of people that use them incorrectly in their daily lives, especially when they're writing and typing.😄 see what I did 😉

Today was all about MATH!!! Breaking out some of my teacher resources from past years to keep them motivated and preventing the summer slide! There are so many things you can do at home to help children stay engaged in their learning while having fun.

It's Multiplication time!!!!

These fun fidgets are a great hands on tool to reinforce Multiplication Fact Fluency.

My second grader has been eager to learn his facts and when I found these I had to get them.

Anytime you can combine learning and fun...
It's a WIN WIN for all!!!!

Puzzle break !!!!

Stimulate both sides of the brain by completing puzzles.There is so much research that supports puzzles and effects it has on brain development and function.

Not to mention puzzles can be great therapy tool! Helping to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and provide a sense of relaxation.

So take a break from the phones and tablets and grab you a few puzzles to complete this summer!

Puzzles are a wonderful activity for young children that requires, careful observation, spatial reasoning, and patience.

We are ready for Summer Learning at home!

Every Summer we still make time for learning. All that hardworking during the school year will not be loss, not on my watch👀!

TIP #1: Create an atmosphere and routine for the kids to be successful.

TIP #2: Create a chart for them to track their progress. They have to learn to be invested in their own education.

Get the best out of them first thing in the morning. After learning takes place, they are free! But reading📚 and math ️🧮 will be done before a tablet or TV 🖥 is turned on.

Zingo is a fun game to practice short vowel spelling. Also good for reinforcing letter recognition and sounds.

Tip: Look for resources that can grow with your child's learning.

This book crate is almost 9 years old and where early literacy started for Kam before she was even born.

This book crate was filled with wonderful books at our baby shower for her. Instead of cards we asked for books to help start her home library and it has never not stopped growing. We've been truly blessed by our village (pics 2 and 3) and want to continue to be a blessing to others.

This Sunday we will have an opportunity to bless other children in our church family and community with books to fill their home library's.

If you are in the DFW and would like to donate books please let me know and I will gladly come by to pick up books for all ages.
